New publication by Dr. Christian Dameff

6/1/2016

Congratulations to Dr. Christian Dameff, current chief resident, on his recent publication in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). The paper is entitled Implementation of a Regional Telephone Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Program and Outcomes After Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest, and quoting from the conclusion in the abstract, Dr. Dameff's paper shows that "implementation of a guideline-based Telephone CPR (TCPR) bundle of care was independently associated with significant improvements in the provision and timeliness of TCPR, survival to hospital discharge, and survival with favorable functional outcome." We also recognize alumni faculty Dr. Bentley Bobrow who is first author on the paper. (Link)
