Chief Residents Christian Dameff and Nicole Hodgson, accompanied by Maricopa's new Arizona ACEP Representative Guy Raz and attending Dr. Brad Butler, took to the hill this past month alongside hundreds of emergency physicians across the country to advocate for our patients and our specialty. Along with attending lectures from congressmen and experts on healthcare policy, attendees had individual meetings with their representatives at the Capitol to discuss topics ranging from liability reform to the current status of the hotly-debated new healthcare bills. Maricopa's residents are proud to hold a voting position on AzCEP's board and to work with emergency medicine leaders across Arizona to enact both state-level and national change for the benefit of our patients.
"Are you ready to train in a program tailored to excellence to help you develop as a leader in emergency medicine? Accept nothing but the best–as do we–from yourself and our program."
– Dr. Michael Epter, Program Director
