Last Wednesday our residency visited our state capital. We had a fantastic time visiting with our representatives; discussing essential policies that affect both us as physicians as well as our patients.
Several of our residents, nurses, & APPs have been working together on a project to broaden access to ultrasound-guided IV placement in our department. On December 1st, a training session took place, with teaching by ultrasound faculty, fellow, and residents. This has been an interdisciplinary effort, with the reward of our marvelous nurses becoming certified in US guide peripheral IV placement!
"Are you ready to train in a program tailored to excellence to help you develop as a leader in emergency medicine? Accept nothing but the best–as do we–from yourself and our program."
